Selected Works

Book of Tongues: The Dead Letters of Pedro and Ines
A poetic resurrection — myth with teeth, language without borders, stories that refuse to stay buried.

As Malcriadas or Names We Inherit
Tender yet unflinching. Language as polished and sharp as a fine-bladed sword — the sadness, joy, pain, and love that lingers in the ruins.

We Prefer the Damned
A new grammar for intersectional identities — Portuguese-American heritage and bi+ lived experience, past and present, old self and new self.

The Quitters
Roller derby, MMA, and teaching — a hard-hitting collection of essays that will send you reeling and make you return every time for more.
